Each books focus on different characters for you to fall deeply in love with. Let me just point out that this series is football related – as in American Football. I thought I would share my thoughts of each one under one post instead of spreading them out each week. And that’s exactly what I did and I accomplished all four standalone books under the Waylon University series in a week. But, knowing me, I like to read books in order. No need to read them in order if you like. Ilsa mentioned that her Waylon University series were standalones. (And because I keep thinking about Aiden Graves and Vanessa Mazur from The Wall of Winnipeg and Me) So I decided to start with I Dare You by Ilsa Madden-Mills. I wanted something that would make me laugh and melt, something sexy but not crazy. What do I do? I decide to pick something up to remedy my mind. I needed something to take my mind off them. I didn’t want to think about Lola or Roman. I had to cover up the fresh emotions brewing inside me. Some days it doesn’t work like that and Beyond the Roses did something to me. I’m gonna take a break and maybe key some words down somewhere or watch a little Netflix while I arrange my thoughts properly. I need to get out of this funk.” And I don’t mean that in a bad way at all. I had just finished reading Beyond the Roses by Monica James and thought, “Geez.
